    The Telephone Accounting Software runs on an IBM I series system. Riata (Windows based) and Zebek (Web Based) are our Customer Service Modules.

Customer Billing (Riata & Zebek)

    The Billing system has all of the features listed below. It is very easy to use and history is kept of changes. The system has approved and unapproved service orders so you can control what is billed and what is not billed for a given month. User defined tariff codes that are used for recurring and non-recurring charges. User controls unit costs and G/L accounts of the tariff codes. Tariff codes can be billed monthly, quarterly, annually, or whatever the user assigns. Tariff codes integrate into the toll billing system to rate Option Calling Plans correctly. The billing system is integrated to the G/L system so billing entries are posted to the G/L each month. Toll Billing can be for either equal or nonequal access offices.

General Ledger

    The G/L System is updated by all of the other modules so manual G/L Entries are kept to a minimum. Financial statements can be run for any period at any time. Trial balances can be run for multiple accounts at a time or just one month. Trial balances can be for multiple periods or just one period. All of the accounting modules allow expenses to be posted to a different company and the system automatically creates the appropriate A/R and A/P to the two companies involved. Companies can be combined to create combined financial statements.

Accounts Payable

    The Accounts Payable handles hand checks and/or computer printed checks along with ACH. Various check formats are available. Invoices are entered by vendor and invoice. Vendor code can be alpha and/or numeric. Invoices are paid by pay date that user selects. You can print a check right now and post it later. An expense can be posted to one company and the cash come from another company and the system creates the appropriate A/R and A/P entries for the two companies involved.

    The Payroll system will work for any pay schedule whether hourly or salary. The system will calculate overtime hours if user selects. The system keeps track of Holiday, Vacation, and Sick Leave balances. User defines hours to accrue for Holiday, Vacation, and Sick Leave. Handles 401K and cafeteria type of plans that are user defined. Permanent deductions for each pay period. Default time file to reduce data entry. Tax Tables are user defined. Time code and deduction codes are user defined.

Work Orders

    The A/P, Payroll, Inventory, and G/L all integrate to the Work Order system. Detail of costs and items added are kept track of. The Work Order system is also used for a job costing system that is used to keep track of costs of a particular project no matter what the project is. The Work Order system can also be used for Job Costing when needed.

    The Inventory system has total cost, quantity paid for, and quantity on hand for the various items you set up. Additions to quantity on hand are entered at the time an item is received. Additions to quantity paid for are entered at the time you enter the A/P invoice if the user selects they can be entered as an inventory addition batch. Inventory withdrawals can be entered at any time and the user selects the G/L account to expense the cost to or the work order to assign it to. There is a module for Inventory sales that can be applied to the customer’s phone bill.

    The CABS Billing System is fully integrated to the toll billing system. The toll data that is recorded at the end offices is combined with the data that is recorded at the access tandem offices to generate Access Minutes of Use. User defines whether to use actual or factors for terminating minutes of use and non-conversation minutes of use. Purchase of Accounts Receivable statements are generated from the customer toll billing including toll adjustments.

    The miscellaneous billing is used for companies who have subsidiaries who do billings for other businesses such as Cable TV Companies or retail outlets. This is a very basic billing system that takes care or recurring and non-recurring charges, cash receipts, aging, and the printing of statements. The miscellaneous billing is integrated to the G/L system.
